Text Twist
Game #500
How to Play Text Twist
You get six scrambled letters and a board full of hidden words. Tap the letters or type on your keyboard to build a word, then submit it. Every word from three letters up counts, and each letter can only be used as often as it appears.
The word board above the letters shows every word waiting to be found, grouped by length. When you find one, its letters pop into place. Your goal is to fill the entire board, including at least one word that uses all six letters.
Stuck? Hit Shuffle to rearrange the letters. A fresh order often makes a word jump out at you that was invisible a second ago. You can also press the space bar to shuffle and Enter to submit while typing.
If you are really stuck, the hint button reveals the first and last letters of a couple of unfound words. You get eight hints per game, so spend them wisely. Longer words are worth more points, and the puzzle is complete when every word is found.

History of Text Twist
Text Twist rose to fame in the early 2000s as one of the most played games on the web portals of the era, where millions of players spent their office breaks untangling six letters at a time. Its simple premise and one more round pull made it a defining casual game of that generation.
The formula itself is much older. Anagram puzzles have appeared in newspapers for well over a century, from jumble columns to parlour games where players raced to rearrange letter tiles. Text Twist simply gave that timeless idea a friendly digital home with instant feedback and scoring.
A sequel later added new modes and longer words, and countless variations have appeared since. The version you are playing here continues that tradition with daily puzzles, multiple languages, and word lists tuned so every board is fair, satisfying, and fun to finish.
