Word Games is a free collection of daily word puzzles for word lovers of all ages. Whether you're a seasoned crossword solver, a Wordle devotee, or just looking for a fun way to spend five minutes, there's something here for you.

We're a small independent project with no ads and no accounts required. Just good puzzles, every day. New games drop daily so bookmark the site and come back often!

Our Games

Right now you can play Wordle, Boggle (in 4×4, 3×3, 5×5, and Triangle variants), Word Tetris, Word Search, Worbble, and Wordscapes, with more on the way. Every game is available in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, so you can play in whichever language feels most comfortable.

Where Our Words Come From

We care a lot about getting words right. Our core word list is the NWL 2023 (North American Word List), which is the official dictionary used in competitive Scrabble across North America. It's comprehensive enough to keep things interesting while leaving out the kinds of obscure or archaic words that feel unfair to run into.

Bonus words, the extra credit answers you can find in games like Boggle and Word Tetris, come from a mix of our own curated list and the CSW 2023 (Collins Scrabble Words). CSW is an international list that covers a broader range of valid words, including a lot of British English vocabulary.

For non-English games we use equivalent high-quality dictionary sources for each language, so the words feel natural and fair no matter which language you're playing in.

Daily Puzzles

Every puzzle is tied to the current date, so everyone playing on the same day gets the same game. That makes it easy to compare results with friends. A fresh challenge is always just a day away.
