How to Play Mini Crossword

Mini Crossword is a quick 5x5 puzzle you can finish in a few minutes. Every white square belongs to one Across word and one Down word, and your job is to fill them all in using the clues.

Click any square to select it, then start typing. Click the square again or press Tab to switch between Across and Down. You can also click a clue in the list to jump straight to its word in the grid.

Words cross each other, so every letter you place helps you solve something else. If a clue has you stumped, solve the words that cross it and the answer will start to reveal itself.

Stuck or unsure? Hit the Check button. It marks any letters that are wrong so you can fix them and keep going. The puzzle is solved when every square is filled in correctly.
