Wordweave

GAME #83

How to Play WordWeave

WordWeave is a word connection puzzle. Eight words are scattered across the board — your goal is to connect them all into one linked crossword by sharing letters.

Drag a word to move it. Words connect when they overlap on a matching letter. A green word means it's connected to at least one other word.

Tap a word chip below the board to select it, then use the rotate button to flip it between horizontal and vertical. You can also tap multiple chips to select and move a group.

A red border appears when two connected words form an invalid sequence — rearrange them so every touching letter combination is a real word.

The puzzle is solved when all words are connected in a single chain. There's no move limit — take your time!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do words connect in WordWeave?

WordWeave works like a mini crossword. Each word tile has to share at least one letter with the tile it connects to, and that letter must line up exactly at the crossing point. When the right letters align, the connection locks in and turns green, confirming the two tiles are correctly joined.

Can I rotate the word tiles?

Yes, you can rotate each tile to try different orientations. Sometimes simply flipping a word is the key to finding where it fits on the board. There is no penalty for rotating, so experiment freely until everything clicks into place.

What should I do if I get completely stuck?

Try working backwards from whichever tiles are already locked in. Changing the orientation of one tile often opens up a chain of possibilities you had not noticed before. Longer words tend to be harder to place, so starting with them and building outward from there usually makes the rest of the puzzle easier to solve.

Is a new WordWeave puzzle available every day?

Yes! A brand new set of words with a fresh arrangement is published every day. Each puzzle is unique, so there is always something new to work through.
